PC release date
Path of Idle: Old Gods Rising launched on PC via Steam on 12 August 2026, developed and published by Small Mill. The release was accompanied by a 10% introductory discount that runs until 26 August 2026, bringing the price from $9.99 to $8.99.
Launch window and discount
The storefront lists the launch discount as an “INTRODUCTORY OFFER” ending on 26 August 2026. After that the base game returns to its regular $9.99 price. The Founder’s Edition bundle and Supporter Pack DLC were discounted by the same 10% during this window — see price and editions for the breakdown.
Demo and save carry-over
The game had a public demo (build versions 0.3.6.0 through 1.0.1.0) ahead of launch, including a Steam Next Fest appearance. Per the developer’s official announcement, the demo closed before the full release and demo save data was carried over directly into the full version. Players who progressed in the demo kept their progress at launch.
